I
sent my rescue, GSD, Rafa to Tamasine for an intensive two week period of training as he had been having issues in meeting other dogs, particularly when he was on a lead. I felt that I didn’t have the time or the right environment in order to carry out the training myself.
Rafa responded very well to the training and it was wonderful to receive daily reports and videos allowing me to see the progress that was being made. The workshop at the end of the week was very interesting as it was clear that Rafa had become much calmer and more responsive to all commands, not just when out on a lead, but also when around the house.
The whole training experience was fabulous value as Tamasine didn’t just work on the main issue, but also worked on other behaviours such as Rafa’s fear of hoses and his habit of mouthing.
Having returned home Rafa’s training with other dogs was sorely tested. On a regular basis he has to contend with two very territorial bull Mastiffs that are unsecured and often charge towards him barking and snarling. Rafa now has a quick bark back at them and then calms down on command, which is a fabulous result. The improved behaviour around the house has also continued, so we are very pleased with the overall outcome, and would not hesitate to recommend Tamasine to others.
