5 Star Bark Review
I contacted Tamasine after having had my puppy, Ronnie, for about 18 months. I was really struggling with some of his behaviours and as a new dog guardian, the life changing, sometimes overwhelming experiences this can bring.
My first call with Tamasine was great! In just a few minutes I felt someone understood how I was feeling, understood how my dog was feeling and knew exactly what to do about it!
I needed confidence and Ronnie needed to learn good manners, patience and tolerance.
I had 8 sessions in all, going back to basics with some things and specific training for others.
Each video session was followed up with loads of back-up information and notes. Videos I sent back were quickly reviewed and critiqued, fairly and kindly, but honestly.
I found this so useful. To watch myself back and “get it” – to see where I was going wrong.
The results have been incredible!
Thanks to Tamasine showing me how to interact with, play with and enjoy my dog he is now happier, more attentive, better mannered and calmer.
Too often people say “it’s been a journey”, but it really has, and one I would recommend to anyone who may be struggling with their dog.
You need to understand that your input needs to be continual and consistent. It is time consuming. Tamasine will tell you what to do, but you do the training.
The relationship I have built with Ronnie through the daily games and interactions Tamasine has shown me has been amazing.
Ronnie still pushes his boundaries sometimes but I feel so much more empowered and confident in dealing with it and have a “toolkit” of dog training to fall back on whenever the need arises.
Tamasine said at the very beginning that it was important that I got the dog I wanted. Well Tamasine, I do!
I just hope I’m the guardian Ronnie deserves and wants too.
